Practical answers about SGF ticketing and custom theater websites from Secret Golden Flower (SGF), from buying tickets to planning your theater’s launch and ongoing support.
SGF ticketing is the theater ticketing system built by Secret Golden Flower (SGF). It connects a theater’s own website with show listings, assigned seating or general admission, checkout, ticket delivery, staff check-in, and reporting.
On sgf.theater, SGF stands for Secret Golden Flower, the company that builds custom websites, connected ticketing, and staff tools for independent theaters.
Secret Golden Flower (SGF) designs, builds, and supports custom websites and integrated ticketing for independent theaters. The work connects show discovery, assigned seating or general admission, checkout, ticket delivery, staff check-in, reporting, hosting, and ongoing support.
SGF brings both into one project. The website is designed around your theater’s identity, photography, venue, and season, with ticketing and staff tools connected to it. Discovery includes a review of your current tools and operating needs so the project scope is clear before work begins.
Guests buy tickets through the theater’s own website. Start with the theater’s show page to choose a performance and follow its checkout. For help with an existing order, contact the theater using the details on its website or in your order confirmation.
SGF reviews the exports available from your current provider, including customer data, gift cards, and scheduled shows, then documents what can be migrated. The project moves through consultation, design, private testing, and a monitored launch. Timing depends on scope and the availability of content.
The SGF mobile companion app gives staff Tonight, Check-In, Reports, and Lookup views. It supports the front-of-house work around a performance, including ticket check-in and ticket lookup, alongside the theater’s connected ticketing system.
SGF publishes starting website-build rates, ticketing rates, and monthly minimums for open seating and assigned seating on its pricing page. Third-party card processing is separate. A written proposal confirms your theater’s exact scope and agreed costs, including migration needs and any separately scoped marketing work.
Ongoing work includes managed hosting, maintenance, security updates, agreed seasonal content changes, and support from a person who knows your theater and its system. The exact ongoing scope is documented before the partnership begins.
SGF’s free discovery report examines whether patrons, search engines, and selected AI systems can find a theater’s shows and follow the path to tickets. It looks at how clearly the website exposes show information, dates, and ticket paths. Start with your theater’s address and select the matching venue to begin.
No. SGF focuses on clear, consistent information about your theater, shows, venue, and tickets so patrons and discovery systems can understand it. This supports search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO), but does not guarantee a search ranking, an AI citation, or ticket sales.
Bring your season, current tools, and operating questions. The first consultation is free and carries no obligation.
